It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Ronald Crump, age 60, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. David was born in Union Springs, Alabama, on February 7, 1965. He peacefully departed this life on May 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

David was a loving son, husband, and father. He is survived by his devoted parents, Ron and Jane Crump of Ashville; his beloved wife, Leila; his children, Tiffany Crump of Moundville, and Dawson Crump and Kayla Crump, both of Tuscaloosa; and his cherished grandchildren, Paisley, Noah, Everleigh, and Marion.

David was preceded in death by his two sons, Houston and Austin Crump, whose memories he held dear.

David was the life of the party. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his love of sports, boat rides on the lake, traveling, chasing storm jobs, and watching Alabama football every chance he got.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Greensport Baptist Church, 9305 Shoal Creek Road, Ashville, AL 35953. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
