Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. David "Kenny" Carroll, 64, Glencoe, who died Monday, June 5, 2017. The Rev. Stan Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Mausoleum. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Kenny was a Christian first. He loved The Lord and loved his church. He was an avid Alabama fan to the point of being what some would call obnoxious. He loved flowers and was very knowledgeable of them. Dogs, motorcycles and Facebook were some of his passions. He'll be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by grandson Landyn Carroll; parents Marlon Carroll and Mildred Reynolds; and brothers Wayne Carroll, Roger Carroll and Bruce Patterson.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lisa; children, Eric (Cari) Carroll, Brandon Carroll and Jordyan Carroll; brothers, Bobby (Rosemary) Carroll, Michael Reynolds, Neil (Leslie) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Phylis Carroll; grandchildren, Raylene Bailes, Hannah Massey, Laci Carroll, Isabelle Carroll; and his faithful companion, his dog Daisy; and a large extended family.
Pallbearers will be friends and family. Special thanks to the MICU staff and doctors at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home.
