Funeral services will be 12 pm Friday, at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. David Burrell, age 55, of Gadsden, who died Tuesday. Pastor Bruce Burrell will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

David attended West End High School and was a painter by trade. He loved Auburn Football and will be remembered as a trusting soul who would do anything for anybody.

He was a born again Christian and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by Father Robert and Stepmother Mary Burrell and grandparents E.P. and Willie Mae Burrell.

He is survived by mother Martha, children Eric Burrell, Kori Brown, Shane Burrell, Kyle Burrell, and Savanna Teet,8 grandchildren, siblings Donna(Donald) Self, Tammy(David) Bryant, Perry Burrell, Anna Marie (Allen) Lancaster and a host of nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
