A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Glenn Thrasher, age 72, of Gadsden, who died Sunday, August 28, 2011.Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Thrasher was a Vietnam veteran, having served 6 years with the U.S. Navy and 14 years with the U.S. Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents Varney and Inez Thrasher and brothers Charles Boles, Varney Thrasher, Don Thrasher, and Ralph Thrasher.
He is survived by his brothers Johnny (Kay) Thrasher and Jack (Susan) Thrasher; sisters in law Joyce Thrasher, Shirley Thrasher, and Gladys Boles; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to any Disabled Veterans Fund.
