Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Daphine Pledger, age 92, of Gadsden, who diedTuesday January 17,2023. Reverend Randy Hagen will officiate . Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery Albertville Alabama.

Mrs. Pledger will be remembered as a christian first, loved the Lord and her church where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years.She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a purchasing agent.She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elton and son Mickey as well as 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by grandchildren Kevan and Kayli Pledger,daughter in law Dana Pledger,sister in law Catherine Naugher and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12 pm until the time of service.
