Johnson, Danny Hugh
Services will be held 3:00PM Wed., January 30 at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home for Danny Hugh Johnson, age 63 - Gadsden who went to be with his precious savior January 25, 2008. The Reverend Bill Harbinson will officiate burial in Crestwood Memorial Park.Crestwood Funeral Home will direct.
Danny was a 1963 graduate of Emma Samson High School and received a BA degree from United Electronics Institute of Birmingham AL. in 1965. After graduation was employed by SCI Huntsville AL after which he was employed by Goodyear Tire Co. for 35 years.
He was an active member and deacon of East Gadsden Baptist Church for 25 years and a current member of 12th Street Baptist. Dan's entire life was spent living in a way to show others the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He leaves to cherish and honor his memories, his wife of 45 years, Donna. Daughter: Dana Bowman (Tim); Son: David E. Johnson. Grandchildren: Dustin Micheal Hodge, Jordan David Johnson, Danielle Morgan Hodge, Kendall Grace Johnson and Laura Lee Bowman.
Brothers: Mike Johnson (Kathy) and Steve Johnson Sister and Brother in Law: Judy and Jerry Mays Nieces and Nephews: Deborah Jane Duke (Joey), John Wiley Morris, Brian Johnson, Keith Johnson (Michelle), Adam Johnson (Krista) and Brandy Atkins (Paul).
Pallbearers will be Dustin Hodge, Jordan Johnson, John Morris, Joshua Schweining, Tim Bowman, and Jerry Mays
