Graveside service will be at 3pm Saturday, September 21, at Crestwood Cemetery for Cynthia Wilson Garmon, age 60, of Gadsden Alabama who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 16, 2013, surrounded by her children. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct service.



She was born in Albertville, Alabama, Grew up in East Gadsden, graduated Gadsden High School class of 1971 and received an Upholstery degree from Alabama School of Trades. She had worked for the last 15 years as a merchandiser for Kellogg's.



She is preceded in death by her father, Miles Gilbert Wilson.



Left to cherish her memory: Children Chris Garmon, Daphne Garmon, Clay (Kathryn) Garmon; grandchildren Kennedy Garmon, Miles Garmon, Wilson Garmon; her mother, Johnie Louise Dalrymple Wilson; sisters Carol (Dan) Bryant and Sissy (Andy) Brown; brothers Ken (Kathy) Wilson and Anthony (Beth) Wilson; a host of extended family, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Honorary pallbearers: Delores Harp Roach, EGGs, Mike Steele, and Wayne Hampton.

Visitation will be from 1pm until the hour of service on Saturday at the Crestwood Funeral Home.



In lieu of flowers, you may choose to make a contribution in consideration of the family's needs; a Memorial Fund has been set up with Family Savings Credit Union: Cynthia Garmon Memorial Fund.
