Memorial services was held at 3 pm Sunday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Curtis Vinson age 67 of Gadsden who died Thursday March 12 .Kevin Camp will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home directed services.
Mr. Vinson worked at Emco -Stamped Products for over 40 years. He loved to ride motorcycles, gardening, trade days ,traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains, camping ,fishing, he could literally fix anything with duct tape and will be remembered for his wit ,humor and ability to pull a good prank.
He is preceded in death by daughter Tonya Vinson Howell and parents Curtis and Mildred Vinson.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Linda Diann, daughter Monica (Karl) Waters. Grandchildren Brad McCollum, Hunter Howell ,Justin and Shelby Waters, brother James Vinson, sister JoAnn(John) Biggs, nieces Jennifer Smith and Jessica Biggs.
Special thanks to the staff of Divita Dialysis especially Laura Brown and Drs. Eric Baum and Edward Hwang and his wife Diann who is his best friend and caregiver.
Curtis would like to say to all his friends and family "I'm Gonna Miss You Fruit Cakes."
The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 pm until the time of service.
