Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 20th, 2014, at Crestwood Chapel for Christine Snead, 88, of Alabama City, who passed away Thursday, December 18th, 2014. Pastor Blake Jones will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of directing services.

Mrs. Snead was a loving wife and mother, and devoted to the Baptist faith. She loved Alabama football, Snead State baseball, and she enjoyed attending her grandchildren's ball games.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.R. Snead, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Snead is survived by her children, Don (Clara) Snead, Gail (T.L.) Clifton-Wise, Mike (Carolyn) Snead, and Charlotte Millican; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; chosen sister, Joyce Ritch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any favorite charity.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. David Wynn and the staff of Trinity Hospital, especially Rick Kolaczek.

Family will accept friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
