Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2009, at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Christine Smith Kerr, 89, Gadsden, who died Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Rev. Kevin Brooks will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs Kerr was a member of Bellevue Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew G. Kerr.
She is survived by her Son, Andrew Kerr, Jr.,(Glenda) Daughter, Marsha Kerr Simpson (Eric): Grandchildren; Erica Simpson-Ladnier (Will):, Angela Kerr Goza (Larry), Kristy Kerr: Michael Kerr (Marti); great-grandchildren; Ashley Goza, Bradley Downs, Coleton Kerr, Adam Goza, Timothy Kerr and Kerr Ladnier. Brother, James R. Smith Jr. (Earlene). Sister-In-Law,Nell Kerr King.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bellevue Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Larry Goza, Michael Kerr, Will Ladnier, Bradley Downs, Coleton Kerr,Adam Goza, Timothy Kerr, and Kerr Ladnier
Family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm Friday at the funeral home.
