Christine Hazel East, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2026. Crestwood Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Arville and Willie Hulsey, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.  She is survived by her husband, Sherman Lamar East, daughters Tammy East and Amanda East, 6 grandkids, 2 great grandkids, brother, Hubert (Jane) Hulsey, and sister, Teresa Farmer.

Pallbearers will be Nick Sullivan, Nathan Sullivan, Matt Baty and Jeremy Angles.

Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Angles, Tony Battles, Jim Hulsey and Rick Hulsey.

Special Thanks to Pro-Health Hospice, Reece City Volunteer Fire Department, Dr. Johnathon Fuller, AMED ambulance service, Riverview Hospital and Gadsden Regional.

Visitation will be 10am-12pm, Saturday, August 8, 2026.  Chapel service at 12pm, with entombment to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
