Mr. Chester "Bud" Bernard Harrell Jr., 98, of Hokes Bluff, died Saturday, March 3, 2018. His family will receive friends 4 until 6 P.M. on Wednesday at Crestwood Funeral Home. A Memorial Service and burial with military honors will be Thursday at 12:30 P.M. in the Montevallo National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama. Mr. Harrell retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service, serving in both WWII and the Korean War.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife, Nancy Harrell; daughters, Loma Harrell, Scarlet Mobley (Chad), Colloni Keener (Mike); brother, John Harrell; sisters, Joyce Weldon and Lillian Herrin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Marshall, Mike East, Bob Statom, Johnny Moore, Charles Atchley and Jack Jackson.

Preceded in death by his wife, Roseanne Harrell; parents, Chester B. Harrell, Sr. and Loma Payne Harrell; son, Johnny Harrell.
