Charlotte Jeannine Diggs, age 83, was born on Tuesday June 7, 1938, and met Jesus Friday, September 3, 2021.

Our Beautiful Mother, Nana, and Mother-in-law quietly passed away from her earthly home into the arms of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior.

Jeannine was born in Albertville, AL; moved to Gadsden as a young child and resided there until her death. She was a wonderful, kind, compassionate Woman who dearly loved her whole family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her most precious gifts to her from our Lord Jesus.

She graduated from Gadsden High School and had wonderful friends that she still met for lunch as often as she could, before Covid-19 started taking a toll on her body. Jeannine was adament about getting the vaccine and was fully vaccinated before the virus broke through. She will be missed by so many that loved her, but never forgotten. We rejoice knowing today she has a healed body, no more pain and is rejoicing in Heaven with loved ones that went before her.

She was preceded in death by her granddaddy, Austin Farmer, grandmother, Elizabeth Farmer, mother, Erma Stewart, and father, Homer Stewart.

She is survived by her daughter and sons;

Charlotte (Hal) Hearn, David (Robin) Diggs, Greg (Robin) Diggs, grandchildren; Dustin (Amy) Diggs, their children, Haven, Mia and Cade. Heather (Steven) Cannon and their children, Luke, Kenley and Samuel. Cassie (Dusty) Stinson, their children, Eden and Cruz. Brittany Hearn and her daughter, Brylee. Matt (Taylor) Diggs and their children, Bentley and Adeline. Jared (Linsie) Diggs, Madison (Ryan) Edwards, Zoe Diggs, Meisi Diggs. Brothers; Roger Stewart, Chip (Mary) Stewart. Special friend, Becky King and many beloved family members.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to East Gadsden Baptist Church in her honor.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 12:00 PM at Crestwood Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Diggs will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Diggs, Matt Diggs, Jared Diggs, Dusty Stinson, Steven Cannon and Ryan Edwards.
