Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, at 12:00 p.m., at Crestwood Chapel for Charles L. Webb, age 96, of Gadsden, AL who died July 12, 2015. Pastor Harvey Beck will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Webb was a chief petty officer in the Navy during WWII serving on the Maryland and is a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was a former member of the Exchange Club and was a former Boy Scout Master. He was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame
Mr. Webb is survived by his daughter Laura Zaremba (Dr. Jack Zaremba), son Larry Webb, grandchildren Jack Jr.,and Michael, Zaremba, Ali Zaremba Morgan and Ty Webb. Great grandchildren Madison, Brock, Avery and Cole Zaremba, Conner and Chase Zaremba, Garrett and Hana Webb, and Jake Martis.

The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on July 15 prior to the service.
