Funeral service will be at 2pm Today at Crestwood Chapel for Charles Allen Pinkston, age 61, Gadsden, who died February 22, 2010. Brother Tommy Marshal will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Pinkston was preceded in death by his grandmother Minnie Agnes Crowe, grandfather Lowell Lewis, and uncle Jerry Crowe.
He is survived by his Sons Christopher Pinkston (Misty) of Rainbow City and Jason Pinkston (Traci) of Gadsden; grandchildren Raven Houk, Matthew Pinkston, and Anastasia Pinkston; mother Kathleen Turner (Robert) of Gadsden; sister Kathie (Larry) Tuck of Gadsden; brothers Jimmy Pinkston (Sandra) of Chickamauga, Ga. and Keith Pinkston of Gadsden.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Hannah, Adam Allsup, Cary Pierce, Cass Pierce, Roger Green, and Larry Tuck.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of CCU at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from noon until the hour of service.
