Charles Clayton Parham, age 93, passed away on January 12th, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery following.

Charles Parham was raised on Sand Mtn. in and around Henagar, AL. living and working on numerous farms in and around the area. He moved to Gadsden, AL in 1950 and later moved to Glencoe, AL in 1957 where he was a lifelong resident of 67 years. He started work for the City of Gadsden in 1951 as a Heavy Equipment Operator and loved every minute of it. He worked for the city for 47 years until he retired to his residence in Glencoe. He loved golfing with his three sons, playing the guitar and singing with his brothers and sisters. He loved gathering around the table and playing various games like Yahtzee, Dominoes and various card games with family and friends. Later in life, he enjoyed going to the Gadsden Mall and "people watching" then going for lunch at the "Waffle House" across the street.

He is survived by his three sons Jerry (Cindy) Parham, Randy (Jill) Parham, Scott (Rachel) Parham, Daughter- in-Law Kathy Norton, Brother Louie Parham, Grandchildren Jeff Norton, Michael (Kay) Parham, Hillary (Justin) Bielefeldt, Shay (Jon) Patton, Blake (Angelina) Parham and a host of Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by Father J. H. "Duley" Parham, Mother Vestie Whited Parham, Wife Dorothy Strawn Parham, second Wife Elizebeth Anne Parham, Son Donnie Parham Norton, Grandson Samual Wade Norton, Brothers Dennis Parham, Johnny Parham, Sisters Louise Parham Varnedore, Katherine Parham Naler, Sula May Parham Webb, Ada Lee Parham Conklin, granddaughter Kortney Blake Patton

Pallbearers will be Larry Naler, Rickey Autwell, Barry Conklin, Kevin Conklin, Michael Parham, Blake Parham
