Graveside services will be 11 am Monday, at Crestwood Cemetery, for Mr. Charles Mize, age 82,of Southside, who died Thursday October 7, 2021. Bert Broom will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Charles will be remembered for his love of all outdoors, hunting, fishing and GOLF. Enjoyed Braves Baseball and Wheel Of Fortune. He was a proud member of the Emma Sansom 1957 State Baseball Champions. He was a loving husband, father grandfather and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by wife Joyce, son Len Mize parents Bishop and Alene Mize and sister Betty Patterson.

He is survived by children Sherry Alford, Jimmy(Teresa) Mize, Steve Mize, Candy Mize, Codi(Jeffery) Hilburn,

Grandchildren Jimmy (Nichole) Mize, Alexandra(Drake) White, Hunter Mize and Danielle Mize.

Great grandchildren Dalton Mize, Parker Mize, Jaycie Hilburn, Haylynn Mize, Harper Hilburn, Stella Mize and special friend Ester Elsberry.
