Charles Lane Balcomb, age 81 formerly of Gadsden and most recent form Hanceville Alabama passed away Saturday August 3, 2013.Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services
He is survived by daughters, Peggy Lankford and Judy Balcomb (David) Richey and son, Edward (Jackie)Balcomb, ex wife and mother of his children, Peggy Balcomb; sister Mary(Carlis) Miller and brother, Johnny Balcomb and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was lovingly cared for, in his final years, by his sister Mary Miller and her husband Carlis Miller. The family will receive friends form 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
