Memorial service will be at 4 PM, Friday, February 5th, 2016, at First United Methodist Church of Rainbow City for Catherine V. Rowe, 86, of Gadsden, who died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Pastor Lynn Dimon will officiate.

Mrs. Rowe was born in Union County, PA, and graduated Mifflinburg High School. She was very active in her church and attended adult Sunday School and regular services; she also was a member of the United Methodist Women's, Agape, Thursday Bible Study and Quilters groups. She also greatly enjoyed flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Francis Spickler and Marian Ferreira; and parents, Walter and Gladys Spickler.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph C.; daughter, Linda Rediker; son, Joseph A.; sister, Ruth Gardner; cousins, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation with family will be held for one hour prior to the service.
