Graveside service at Crestwood Funeral Home will be on Monday, October 13th at 11:00am for Carolyn June McKleroy.  June McKleroy, age 90, passed away on October 10, 2025. June was born in Glencoe on January 6, 1935 to Roswell Heath and Beatrice Heath Hedgepeth who precede her in death.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jim McKleroy and sister, Mary Thomas.
June is survived by her sons, Kent Dunston and Barry (Beth) Dunston; grandchildren Mandy (Nick) Doster, Dillon Dunston, Derek (Sabrina) Dunston and Nick (Carmen) Dunston; great-grandchildren, Emma Doster, Violet Dunston and Stella Doster.
June was a graduate of Glencoe High School, Jacksonville State University and UAB where she obtained her degrees in education.  She was a devoted teacher for many years in Etowah County and was dedicated to serving the Lord.  Special thanks to Enhabit Hospice and Carillon Oaks Assisted Living.
