Memorial service for Mrs. Carol Stoddard Carlisle age 53 of Southside will be Thursday at 3 pm at Crestwood Chapel. Father Gray Bean will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Carol will be remembered as a very loving person who never met a stranger and seemed to know everybody. She loved life and all it had to offer from people to children to animals, she loved life in general and had a knack for bringing the best out of everybody. She was a loving wife, mother daughter, sister grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father George E. Stoddard, father in-law John R. Carlisle.
She is survived by husband Mark Carlisle, son Daniel McKinney, stepson Chris Thompson, grandchildren Alex and Katherine, mother Joan Stoddard, sisters Beth Stoddard, Melissa(Thomas) Finch, mother and father in-law Jerry and Jean Morgan and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Crohns and Colitus Foundation.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2 pm until the time of service.
