Mrs. Carol Hedgepeth Butler, age 87, passed away Wednesday September 20, 2023. A service to celebrate her life will be held by her immediate family at graveside.
Mrs. Butler was a native of Sand Mountain and a longtime resident of the Jefferson County Area. She was a devout Christian and a faithful church member,  most recently attending Evangel Presbyterian Church. In her latter years she was a resident of The Gardens of Pelham which brought her much joy and many friends into her life.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy Burrow and son in law Phillip Burrow, son Mark Butler and son in law Hashim Ali, grandson Andrew Burrow, niece Sarah Butler, sister Brenda Miller, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the residents and staff of The Gardens of Pelham and Columbiana Health and Rehab.
