Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at First Baptist Church, of Gadsden, for LTC Carl Guy Harrison age 91 of Gadsden who died Friday October 18, 2024.

Carl Guy Harrison was born August 11, 1933 in Pell City Alabama. He was a proud Military veteran having actively served from March 1957 until April 1977. He served in The Gadsden City School system as ROTC Instructor for the remainder of his life.

He is preceded in death by parents Polly Louise(Lee) Harrison and Guy Richard Harrison.

He is survived by wife Marlene (Clark) Harrison, sons Carl "Rick"(Brenda)  Harrison and Michael Harrison, brother Mike(Janice) Harrison and sisters Jane Phillips and Polly Wilkerson, grandchildren Luke Shelton, Corey Harrison, Michael Phelps, numerous nieces and nephews and countless ROTC Cadets.

Pallbearers will be Harrison Dial, Luke Shelton, Corey Harrison, Steven Dial, Allan Morgan and Brian Dial. Honorary pallbearers are Gadsden City High JROTC.
