Carl Stephen Boyle, known to his family and closest friends as Buddy, passed to Heaven's portal less than a week before his 66 ^th birthday. Sickness at home led to his being an inpatient at Riverview Hospital in Gadsden, Alabama where his life on earth ended early morning January 29, 2022. Carl was born to Bill and Ruby Jo Boyle on February 2, 1956, he was their middle child and only son.  A life-long resident of Rainbow City and 1975 graduate of Southside High School, he was loving and adventurous. His dad instilled in him a love for camping, hunting and fishing that carried over to his relationships with friends. A memorial service to honor his life is planned for Thursday, February  3, 2022, following the viewing and visitation beginning at 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.

Carl was carried to church regularly and gave his life to the Lord in the early 1960's. But like so many others, as a young adult drifted away, he served in the Air National Guard and was employed at Gulf States Steel until it shut down. By his own testimony, he continued to backslide and was involved in numerous accidents that could, or should have, killed him. But God had a purpose for his life, he married and in 1999, was blessed with a daughter. Again, by his own testimony, 'My life has not been easy or perfect, but I am delivered from my bad habits and forgiven for it all through the blood of Jesus!'.  For the past fifteen plus years, he was employed by Allied Crawford where he had a wonderful work family.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Hannah Madison Boyle, of Rainbow City and sisters Karen (Bill) Galloway and Alice Boyle, all of Boaz, Alabama, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews and a multitude of  friends and acquaintances. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, William M. (Bill) and Ruby Jo Boyle.
