Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at Crestwood Funeral Home for Calvin Michael (Budman) Sims. The Rev. Tony McGowan will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home directing.Mike was of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Calvin E. Sims. Survivors include sons, David and Daniel Sims; mother, Murlene Sims; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Jeff Jones; grandmother, Eunice Blevins; niece Amanda Hester; and special cousins, Johnny and Wayne Laney.Mr. Sims was formerly employed by Boatner Construction Co. and Etowah County Road Department. He was self employed at J & B Cycle Service and RepairHe loved drag racing, dune buggies and motorcycles.
