Be it known that Calvin "Cal" Joyner Jr., age 69, of Rainbow City, dedicated husband and loving father has been called by our Lord.
Born October 21, 1939, Cal spent his life providing for family and making time for friends. He enjoyed bowling, golf and many other activities. He was a successful, respected business man and employer that considered all his extended family.
He is survived by his only true love and soul mate: Irene, wife of 14 years; his children: Joel, Janice, Joline, Laura and Bill; grandchildren: Austin, Hunter, Chris, Tye, Tony, Natalie, Ian, Shane, Cameron and Shayla.
He was a teacher, advisor, but most of all a gentleman.
There will be a memorial service at 5 PM Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Crestwood Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
