Brown, Burma Lou Upton
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm today, November 29 in Crestwood Chapel for Burma Lou Upton Brown, age 92, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday November 27, 2007 surrounded by her family. Rev. Don Young Entombment will be in Crestwood Mausoleum. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Brown attended the University of Montevallo and Jacksonville State Teachers College. She had been employed by Alabama School of Trades, Gadsden Air Depot, and Anniston Army Depot. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Emma Upton; Brothers and Sisters, Alta Belle Upton Beddingfield, Ernest Upton, Estelle Upton Pope, Edna Upton Robbins, Adelle Upton Rains, and Raymond Henry Upton.
She is survived by her Husband, Wiley Clifford Brown; Son, Steven Brown of Charlotte,NC; Daughter, Frances Kay Wrenn, Grant, AL; Grandchildren, Kathryn Yvonne (Scott) Hess,Lebanon,IN, Daniel Dalton (Telah) Wrenn, Grant,AL, and Kimberly Marie (Jason) Smith, Harvest,AL; Brother, Aubrey Gene Upton, Maryville,,TN.
Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until the hour of service today.
