Brenda Diane Martin, age 77, passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 77. A graveside service will be held at Forrestlawn on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at 1 p.m. Eric Waugh will be officiating.

Born on June 29, 1947, and after a lived life full of love, laughter, challenges and resilience, she championed incredible achievements through many endeavors and efforts; least of which was her professional career starting in Germany in 1982 pursuing next level accomplishments through Ft. McClellan and finally retiring from Anniston Army Depot in 2008. She was a social butterfly and orchestrated our most memorable Family reunion in 2017. This probably stemmed from her successes early in life, like when she competed in home coming, a beauty pageant, placing 2nd at Wellborn High in 1961, not bad for a bootlegger's daughter. Unfortunately, her life's journey ended, and she has been called home. She is survived by 3 sons, (Matthew J Martin II, Kevin Dewayne Martin, and Barry Allen Martin,) 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Maritn, Kevin Martin, Barry Martin, Greg Waugh, Tim Martin, Nick Martin
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Ray Waugh, Willie Young Waugh, Frankie Lee Waugh
ALT Pallbearers will be David Clark, Herbie Murphy, Alan Whisenant. The family will receive friends at the Forestlawn Mausoleum Chapel Saturday from 12 pm until the time of service.
