Chad Cochran, 52, of Glencoe, Alabama, passed away peacefully.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Crestwood cemetery with Adam Swann officiating. Crestwood Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Chad attended Glencoe High School, where he excelled in athletics, lettering in football, basketball, and baseball. He earned All-County and All-State honors and received numerous athletic scholarships. He later graduated from Gadsden State Community College with a degree in Telecommunications and went on to own and operate Cochran Communications.

Chad enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cheering on Alabama football. Above all, he will be remembered for his thoughtful and caring heart, as well as his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He never met a stranger and touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Irene Malcolm, and Hobert and Louise Cochran.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Larry and Brenda Cochran; his son, Cale Cochran; his daughter, Caitlyn Cochran, and her fiancé, Caleb Machen; his brother, Clay Cochran; his niece, Lauren (Jonathan); his nephews and niece, Austin and Allison; and his special aunt, Bettye Malcolm Grant.

Pallbearers will be Cale Cochran, Caleb Machen, Clay Cochran, Jonathan Barnard, Lance Cochran, and Joe Collins.
