A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Friday, September 16, 2022 at Crestwood Cemetery  for Bobby Ray Powell, age 74, who passed away September 11, 2022. Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services.

Bobby was an alumni of Gadsden High School and the University of Alabama. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 30 years service. Bobby enjoyed Alabama Football and anything related to Bama. He served as a Christian Counselor at several churches in the community. He especially enjoyed watching the water and Daisy Duck from his back porch with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond S. Powell and Polly D. Powell.

He is survived by his daughter Kristy Dugger; son in law Ryan Dugger; cousin Donna Jenkins; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren Alexandria Rhea and Riddic Colton Dugger.

The family would like to express their many thanks and blessings to the Third Floor, Fourth Floor, and CCU Medical staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center for their compassion and relentless efforts. Also, immense gratitude to Mike Cothran for his kindness and friendship to Bobby.

All services will be at Crestwood Cemetery on Friday at 10 AM and all family and friends are welcomed.
