Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hill, age 84, of Gadsden, who died Sunday November 7, 2021. Reverend Michael Knight will officiate Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Bobbie will be remembered as a loving Christian, who took in many and raised them as her own. .She was a great cook, loved Wrestling ,Alabama Football, and was retired from K Mart. She was a longtime member of East Gadsden Church of God. Loving Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by husband Luther Gilbert, son Bruce Gilbert, sisters, Betty Spicer and Faye Anthony, brothers James, Vann, Otis, and Charles Little.

She is survived by daughters Deborah Powell and Tuwona (Tommy) Chambers, grandchildren Bucky(Katrina) Powers, Kimberly Ramsey, Jason(Sherrie) Powell, Brandy(Kevin) Staton, Ashleigh Shea and Whitney Steapleton. Nine great grandchildren, brother Troy(Barbara) Bruce and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Staton, Jason Powell, Seth Powell, Bronson Richey, Neal Richey and Braxton Steapleton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
