Graveside service will be at 11AM Saturday, October 12, at Crestwood Cemetery for Billy Spann Noah, age 79, of Glencoe, who passed away October 9, 2013. Brother Jackie Smith will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct the service.



Mr. Noah had retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with 42 years of service. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist church. He had been a volunteer fireman for Glencoe, as well a Scout Master for Glencoe Boys Scout Troops. He had coached Little League Baseball. He loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer.



He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Noah and his parents John and Bessie Noah.



He is survived by his sons Mike (Patricia) Noah, Tim (Heather) Noah, and Tony (Kathryn) Noah; grandchildren Shane, Dan, Jesse, and Abby; six great granddaughters and one great great grandson.



In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Oak Boys Ranch and St. Jude Hospital.



Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.



Special thanks to Dr's. Ayers, Kaleem, Echeverri, Hwang, Castillo, Wolf and Jaffe. Also thanks to staff of the SICU and 9th floor at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.



There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
