Funeral services will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home for Billy Ray Monday, 78 of Hokes Bluff who died Thursday, June 21, 2018. Rev. Gary Taylor will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Monday was a well known electrician; he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.  Mr. Monday loved tending to his flowers and planting a garden.

Mr. Monday is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sufronia Magdlene Monday, daughter, Denise M Kosior of Payne Springs, TX. Son, Billy Michael Monday(Cindy), grandchildren; Tommie M. Kosior, Frank P Kosior lll and Noah A. Monday, Stepbrother, Charles Barnett (Juanita), brother-n-law, Danny J Winkles, nephews; Cecil and Sherman Henson.

Mr. Monday was preceded in death by his half brother Cecil Henson, mother Katie Ruth Barnett, and father A.E. Monday.

Pallbearers are Arval Alford, Greg Pollard, Charles Barnett, Cecil Henson, Sherman Henson and Danny Winkles.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Scott Reeves.

The family will be accepting friends from 12-2 prior to the service.
