Billy Tom Entrekin, 88, of Wetumpka Alabama, passed away on Sunday December 9, 2018.

A native of Gadsden, Bill graduated from Emma Sansom High School, lived in Glencoe and retired from Goodyear after 30 years before moving to Wetumpka AL in 1999.  A long time member of the Glencoe Church of Christ, Bill was a devout Christian who loved to sing, go on mission trips, fish and snow ski.  A kind and gentle man, he will be missed by his family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Walter A. and Lottie Entrekin, sons Gary Entrekin and Lance Prater, grandson Shane Prater, and great-grandson, Beau Barnett; his sisters: Lalih Davidson, Myrtle Riley, Laura Mae Brothers, Frances Abernathy and Mary Frix, and his brothers Charles, Eugene and James Entrekin.

He is survived by his wife Frances Entrekin (Wetumpka), sons Dale (Rita) Entrekin of Montgomery, Doug (Susan) Prater of Wetumpka, and Robin (Karen) Entrekin of Madison; sister Helen Noojin of Gadsden; Grandchildren Hayley (Ray) Barnett of Chelsea, Paige (Barrett) Dees of Montgomery, Kurt (Laura) Prater of Theodore, Aynsley (Kevin) Riser of Nashville, Matthew Entrekin of Huntsville, Rachel Entrekin of Seattle WA,  and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Entrekin, Kurt Prater, Scott Morris, Kenny Noojin, Randy Noojin and Tommy Hamrick.  Honorary pallbearers are Joe Morris, Wayne Bearden and Gene Bearden.

A funeral service honoring Bill will be held at Crestwood Chapel on Friday December 14, with Phillip Black presiding.  The family will receive visitors at 1PM, prior to the service at 2PM.
