Mrs. Kathy Stokes

On the day of May 2nd, 2017 Heaven gained a kind hearted and faithful woman, Mrs. Kathy Stokes of Coats Bend, AL. Her funeral service will be at 1 P.M., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Crestwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 11 A. M. until time of the funeral.
She passed away peacefully Tuesday morning in the loving arms of her family and into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Boatfield. Kathy leaves behind her high school sweetheart and cherished husband of 57 years, Ray Stokes, who tenderly held her hand and never left her side during her illness. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer McGatha, Tanya Williamson and Alison Stokes; grandchildren, Katie Williamson (Ben), Daniel and David Sims and great-grandson, Kanton; and of course, beloved pet Max. Kathy leaves her family and friends with beautiful memories of her tender heart, precious smile, gentle spirit and love for her Savior.
Special thanks to Rhonda and the Camellia Hospice team. She is more precious than Rubies. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the lord is greatly to be praised.
