Graveside services will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens on Wednesday at 12 noon for Mrs. Betty Jo Handy Moon age 89 of Gadsden who died Sunday. Brother Dave Roberts will officiate . Burial is in Rainbow Memorial Gardens . Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Her faith in The Lord sustained her. Phillipians 4:6&7.She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Nora Bell Harvey, brothers, Bill Harvey and Melvin E. Harvey, sister Vivian J. Brown, husbands Charles R. Handy and Lee Moon, sons Mel Handy and Evan Handy.
She is survived by grandsons Jason R. Handy, Cory(Leslie) McCurtain, great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, nephew Glenn(Lasana) Harvey, nieces, Amanda(Phillip) Penland, Jan(James) Griffith , Terri(Lynn) Johnson and numerous great nieces and nephews.
