83,Passed from this earth to her Heavenly home on Mother's Day Sunday May 8, 2016
Services will be 1 P.M. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Williams Southside Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Our Mother was a kind, loving Christian woman who was a witness to others by her actions.
She was born to Howard & Julia Jordan Hale. Who preceded her in death. Her mother passed when she was a small child. Lucille Hale was the only mother she knew. She also preceded her indeath.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children Ray Swindall and second husband L.M. Smith. 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Betty is survived by her sons, Bill Swindall wife Rebecca Gadsden, AL,Rickey Swindall wife Diane , Lawrence KS, Steven Swindall wife Brenda Sardis City, AL. Daughters Deborah Miller husband Kenny of Jacksonville, AL, Angelia Swindall, Florida , 15 grandchildren, 17great-grandchildren 3 great great-grandchildren Sisters Monza Miller, Brenda Robey and Faye Hale.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons
Flowers will be accepted or donations appreciated to Etowah Humane Society or Alzheimer Association.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, 11:30 until time of service.
