Funeral services for Barbara Marble, age 76, of Gadsden, who entered into rest on Monday, May 1, 2023, will be at 11am on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Crestwood Funeral Home. Ivan Cattling will officiate and burial will take place at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6-8pm.

Barbara will be remembered as a generous and caring woman. She worked as a beautician. She loved her family with all her heart and would give anyone who needed it the shirt off her back. Her alone time was coffee on the porch enjoying nature. She and her husband's favorite pastime was playing the slots in Mississippi. She was Lucky with the jackpots. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Larry Marble; Her sons, Larry Todd, and Steven Craig; her sister Ruth Casey; brothers Randall and Phillip Slaton; her parents, Honree and Archie-lee Slaton.

She is survived by her son Jeff and his fiancé Katherine McCombs, Grandchildren, Courtney (Levar) Cattling, Zac (Crystal) Marble, Dustin Marble, Draven Marble, Kynsey Marble, Jovi Marble, and Mallary Reaves. Great grands: Alexis Bishop, I'Shiah and Ensley Cattling,  Aleeyah, Dawson and Raileigh Marble, Briley Phillips and Charlie Reaves, and brother Bobby(Kathy) Slaton.

Pallbearers will be: Dwayne Floyd, Tim Bishop, Jeff Helms, Christopher Coleman, Chase Borden, and Rashad Cattling.
