Barbara Dianne Davis, age 71 of Hokes Bluff, passed peacefully from this life on Nov 23rd 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family into the arms of Jesus and her beloved husband Kermit Davis. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Gadsden Alabama, graduating from Emma Sansom High School. She married Kermit and had 2 girls, Kristi and Karen. She was a doggy momma to several babies including Brandy, Muff, Cupcake, Tiffany, Rambo, MJ, and Rufus. She was a proud grandmother to Kirsten, Hunter,  and Alyssa Farley, who lovingly called her memaw. Ms. Davis was also Grandma to two furbabies ,Petunia and Patches Monday, who loved their grandma dearly. She could grow roses like no one else. She is preceded in death by her husband Kermit Davis, mother Thelma Taylor and Father J.O. Taylor. She is survived by daughter Kristi Guined, son in law Tracy Guined, daughter Karen Monday, son in law Mark Monday, grand children Kirsten, Hunter, and Alyssa Farlry, great grandson Payton Frier, and Rufus. Mrs. Davis was a loving mother, grand mother, and great grandmother. She leaves a legacy of love and devotion for her family. Her life reflected grace. And now these tree remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest if these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. Momma will be greatly missed and her legacy will live on in love through her family.
