Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery for Mrs. Aza J. Graves, age 68, of Gadsden, who passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Rev. Larry Perkins will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Graves was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bill Graves; son, Greg (Carlaine) Graves; daughter, Allison (Bryan) Ballard, of Rougemont, North Carolina; grandchildren, Blaine Graves, Haleigh Graves, Drew (Brittany) Ballard and Chase Ballard; sister, Jean Barfield, of Web City, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Ballard, Drew Ballard, Chase Ballard, Tim Martin, Zeke Coffield and Tim Tech.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the C.C.U. at Riverview Regional Medical Center and the doctors, nurses and staff at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
