It is with profound sadness to announce that Annie Ruth Patrick, age 95, of Southside, passed on September 26, 2026 surrounded by her family. 

Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Patrick; parents, Casto and Beulah Smith; son, Wayne Patrick; daughter-in-law, Patty Patrick; brothers, Earl Smith and Harold Smith; sister-in-law, Patsy Smith; and nephew, Vann Earl Smith.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Patrick; daughter, Anita Gibbs (Rocky); sister-in-law, Jackie Smith; grandchildren, Christy Aycock (Hal), Elizabeth O’Clair (Jeff), Michael Patrick (Reese), and Lacey Gibbs (Stephen); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and cousins.

There will be no visitation, grave side services will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Wednesday September 30, at 12 pm. Hal Aycock will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Annie Ruth's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), in tribute to her late husband Curtis's years of service as a firefighter.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Gibbs, Michael Patrick, Jeff O’Clair, Aiden O’Clair, Caleb Aycock, and Stephen Elkourie.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who loved Annie Ruth throughout her life.
