Annie Andres Campbell, 81, Gadsden, died Thursday, Nov. 10, after an extended illness. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Crestwood Chapel. The Rev. Ken Casey will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Campbell Sr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Donna Campbell, Steve and Sissy Campbell, Randy and Mandy Campbell, and Dan and Sherry Campbell; grandchildren, Patrick Poeling, Amanda (Chad) Windsor, Matthew, Meagan, Keith, Jeremiah (Angela), Anna, Caleb (Jenna), Lacey, Tiffany, Jason and Andrew Campbell; great-grandchildren Trevor, Tylor, Lane, Sophia and Brenley; sisters, Helen Chrisman and Wanda Vick; and sisters-in-law, June (Dale) Bridges and Eleanor Ralston. Mrs. Campbell was a native of West Virginia and lived in Gadsden for 51 years. She was a Christian, loved Alabama football, Atlanta Braves baseball and playing Rook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association , 2200 Riverchase Center, Suite 604, Birmingham, AL 35244, or to a favorite charity.
