Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today at Crestwood Chapel for Annette Rutland Hagan, 69, of Gadsden, who went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 28, 2012. Dr. Jonathan Powel and Bro. Chris Connell will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services. Mrs. Hagan was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. The joy of her life was family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Hagan; and her father, Berry Rutland Jr. She is survived by her mother, Marie Rutland; her children, Richard and Kelly (Hagan) Farley, Bryan and Beth (Hagan) Couch and David and Kelli (Johnson) Hagan; grandchildren, Hannah and Jonathan Couch, Savanna Hagan, Emory Hagan, Nicole Farley, Wade and Gina Farley and Cody and Taylor Thornburg; great-grandchild, Harper Gohn; brother, Larry and Brenda Rutland; sister, Betty and Rodney Douglas; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bryan Couch, Richard Farley, Jonathan Couch, Emory Hagan, Cody Thornburg, Wade Farley, Larry Rutland and Rodney Douglas. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Kayla Moore, May Smith, Scott Wigginton and Amedisys Hospice.
