Obituary

Graveside services will be held 11 am Tuesday, at Crestwood Cemetery for Mr. Angelus George Likos, age 89, who departed his earthly home to be with his Lord on January 28, 2021, after an extended illness. Reverend Carl Saxton will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

George graduated in 1954 from the Auburn University School of Pharmacy. He was an active member of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter In Gadsden, where he loved folding The Sunday Morning Bulletins each week. He was also a longtime member of The Brotherhood of Saint Andrews. George served in the military from 10/15/54 TO 10/5/1956 as an Army Medic and loved serving the public for 50 years as a pharmacist.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael; his mother Dominia; father George Likos Sr. and brothers Steven, Jimmy and Gus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 of years, Betty, and sisters Mary Ella and Bessie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid Virus there will be no reception.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.

The family requests that all guests wear masks.
