Funeral service will be at 6pm this evening at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home for Alma Bowman, age 89, of Attalla who went to be with her Lord on September 7, 2011. Rev. Todd Wright and Rev. Gary Webb will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Bowman was born in Tallapoosa, GA on September 13, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Willis Bowman. She was a member of Siberton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons Michael (Sharon) Bowman and David (Lorrie) Bowman; grandson Brian (Leanne) Bowman; granddaughter Katie Bowman; brother Alfred (Dean) Wright; and her nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express special thanks to the wonderful caregivers, especially Melinda Duncan, Sarah Cox, and Tina Cline, and the staff of Lawley Hospice
The family will receive friends this evening from 4pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
