Funeral service will be at11 AM Friday, March 11, at Crestwood Chapel for Alice Hogan, age 88, of Glencoe, who died March 7, 2011. Rev. Vince Whittington will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Hogan was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Glencoe. She was a very hard worker as well as loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend to all she met.
She is preceded in death by her husbands George W. Edge and John T. Hogan; daughter Alice Rebecca Edge, and brother James (Buster) Lambert.
She is survived by her children Wayne (Sheila) Hogan, Palmetto, GA and Kay Hogan Johnson, Palmetto, GA; grandchildren Jeremy Hogan, Courtney Hogan, and Tiffany Parks of Georgia; Great grandchildren Emma and Grace Bennett; and the Edge family of Gadsden.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service on Friday.
