Funeral services will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. Alex Colman Hamilton, age 28, of Hueytown, formerly Glencoe. Brenda Seymour will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Alex will be remembered as a loving father, absolutely adored his son. His second love was skateboarding. He was a 2012 graduate of Glencoe High and earned a degree from Gadsden State, worked as a welder by trade. He was a loving father, son, brother friend, and animal lover and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Milford and Audrey Hamilton, and Fred and Marilyn Rasmussen.

He is survived by his son Dane Colman Hamilton, parents David and Dena Hamilton, brother, Chris (Ashley) Smith, nephew Porter Smith and a large extended family.

Honorary pallbearers are his fellow skateboarders and friends.

Special thanks to all the Angels on the ground who helped and gave comfort in our search for Alex.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 am until the time of service.
