Agnes Joyce (Jolly) Barnett

Agnes Joyce (Jolly) Barnett, age 92 passed away into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 15, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Herschel Barnett, her parents, and her six brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Barnett of Reece City, Al, Sue (Wes) Chappell of Kodak, TN and Sondra (Mike) Stephens of Gadsden, AL.

Agnes was deeply loved by her family, friends, and all associated medical personnel. She loved the Lord and was a very loving and devoted wife to her husband of 50 years. A loving and dedicated Mother to her three daughters, eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. She was a precious soul with a loving personality. Her greatest joy was spending time with family. She was a wonderful example of love, kindness, compassion and generosity.

The family extends their thanks to all those who provided medical assistance and medical care. A special thanks to Southern Care Hospice.

Services will be on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Visitation at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home at 12:00 pm with a celebration of life at 1:00 pm.
