Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Addie Jo Roper Lowman, age 84, of Wellington, who died on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Rev. Larry Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Websters Chapel. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Lowman was a resident of Websters Chapel for 83 years. She was a member of Websters Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.W. Lowman; daughter, Janice Spray; son-in-law, Gary Spray and granddaughter, Selena Autwell.
She is survived by her five sons, Bobby Glenn (Cyndi) Lowman, Royce Lee Lowman, William Clay (Gail) Lowman, Wilford Ray (Mildred) Lowman and Randall (Pat) Lowman; one daughter, Geneal (Raymond) Pierson; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donald Lowman, Donnie Spray, Shane Spray, Matthew Lowman, Kevin Malsy, Jeff Burns, Randall Parris and Howard Roper.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees and residents of Jacksonville Health Care Unit One and Freddie Morris.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
