One of Nell's greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had a great love for children and taught Sunday School for more than 50 years. She loved life, she loved to laugh, and was always finding ways to entertain her family and friends. She played in a band called the "Go Go Grandparents" and enjoyed visiting nursing homes. She was a member of several organizations with some lifetime memberships. She loved her church family at Calvary Baptist. Nell worked in the Goodyear cafeteria and vending until retirement and then secretary at Barber Dairy.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Allen Rhodes, Richard Hayden Brandon Vinyard, Jason Vinyard and Tyler Vinyard.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Leon Gault, James Phillips and Gary Phillips.
Special thanks to niece, Carolyn Elkins, and nephew, Leon Gault, and her three caregivers.
The family will accept friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
